YOU CAN EARN UP TO £30 FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER – WITH AN ACT OF GENEROSITY – READ ON PLEASE
It’s amazing when I get on the subject about uncluttering and I am sharing my tips and advice with new people, they suddenly realise that clutter comes in so many formats! Suddenly they have an “Aha moment” To name a few;
Long standing obliging commitments – people putting on you, the inability to say No.
The Ego, the status that defines us – why do we keep some of the things that represent an image even though it may be a huge burden. Because the Ego wants to create an impression outside of ourselves.
Extensive use of social media tools – this can become detrimental to your confidence if you fall into the trap of comparing how wonderful other people’s children are doing, or how fantastic their holiday photos look. In business social media can be a fantastic tool for networking but in our personal lives it can become a comparison forum.
Your email inbox – are you constanly searching for emails that sit in a big pile in your inbox, do you get so many it feels overwhelming to even begin to clear them? (watch out soon for my whole blog post on getting to grips with your Emails).
Expired sentimentality – sentiment is not always a present feeling, it can be attached to the past and one which represents pain in some way. Letting go can free so much of you that you didn’t know existed. Donate
Unwanted gifts – Feeling guilty. Release yourself from this useless emotion and donate to someone who would greatly benefit from something that you don’t need. Make a mental note to inform friends and family prior to your next birthday and Christmas that you would prefer not to receive a gift but perhaps schedule a special day out instead. Donate
Stuff to do with the Ex-partner – Emotionally we are attached to people and things from our past that have not worked out. Make space in your heart for a new partner by letting go of the things that remind you of your Ex. Donate
Items we never use – If you haven’t used it and it is not useful, donate it or rehome to a friend.
Outdated accounts/paperwork – Simply Shred. Start with 10 documents at a time every day of the week until you feel that you have a block of time to take on more.
Outgrown toys – There are children living on the poverty line in England. Teach your children and show them how it can bring a smile to a younger childs face when they receive an unexpected gift. Donate
The list is endless and the more you minimise the more you find. The gravity of junk attracting junk is a scientific fact.
TODAY YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO SOMEONE ELSE AS AN ACT OF GENEROSITY BY BAGGING UP YOUR UNWANTED ITEMS FROM SOME OF THE LIST ABOVE AND GIVING THEM TO TK MAXX, (make sure you click the link please).
YOU WILL BE HELPING RESEARCH FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER AND IN THE PROCESS CAN BE REWARDED WITH UP TO £30 TO DONATE TO CANCER RESEARCH.
In the process you will feel liberated, needed and appreciated. Letting go of stuff can be the most amazing experience for everyone that your hand reaches out to.
